Style Remix: Sleeveless Turtleneck

For the past several years there’s been a shift towards a more seasonless approach to getting dressed. This is useful since it creates a more cohesive wardrobe that doesn’t need to be switched out each season, but it also means that I see some really strange combinations like open-toed shoes with winter coats, crop tops and long wool pants, and shorts with tights out on the streets.

Normally I would file a sleeveless turtleneck into this category until I bought the Prevost turtleneck from Kit and Ace two years ago. It turned out to be surprisingly versatile, especially with the slim fit and merino wool material. It’s also a nice way to dress conservatively while not wearing a sack and is also a great layering piece since it doesn’t add any bulk.

So if you’re wondering how to wear this top outside of the ten days of spring and fall we get here on the east coast, here are three ways I’m planning on wearing it this year.
